I have a few limited talents and I’d like to share my baking skills to bring hope and love to those who are suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic. One area in particular is the Navajo Nation. Did you know, that one-third of the population in the Navajo Nation doesn’t have electricity or running water? That means that even though a shelter in place for some is an inconvenience, it’s almost impossible for the Navajo Nation. With no refrigerator to store food or water to drink, they can’t just stay home.
The Old Highway Cottage will be Baking For Hope for the Navajo Nation by hosting a bake sale. Join us on June 20th as we raise funds for the Navajo Nation COVID-19 Relief Fund!
We are donating the majority of the proceeds from the sale of Brownie & Sweet Roll variety packs to provide much-needed supplies to the people in the Navajo Nation.
Each variety pack is $10 and comes with 6 varieties of brownies or 6 varieties of sweet rolls. Brownies contain 1 of each Plain, Grasshopper, Smores, Salted Caramel, Cheesecake Swirl, and Brookie. Sweet rolls contain 1 of each Cinnamon, Chocolate, Raspberry, Orange, Strawberries and Cream, and Cream Cheese.
